Program Descriptions
- January General Meeting

- QAELCW Retreat

- Meet the LWT Bible Study Author
- (August) this is an opportunity to join our sisters in Southwestern Washington Synod in meeting with the author of our upcoming Bible Study.
- No-work Day Event
- This intergenerational “No Work Day” is a time when everyone can have fun with no preparation or clean-up. Suggestions?
- September General Meeting
- (September) – An evening meeting with a program, election of officers.
- Thankoffering
- (November) Thankoffering is a special gift of thanksgiving to God for the many blessings we have received.
- Parents’ Day Out
- (December) – This is a gift to those who have small children. Scheduled from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., parents drop off their children for quality care while they spend time shopping, taking in a movie, or just enjoying each others company.
- Cookie Exchange
- The first part of December is the traditional Cookie Exchange. Bring your favorite cookies and share with others. Cookies are provided for the homebound and friends.
- Sewing and Service
- gathers together the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, from 9:30 a.m. to noon to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Bring a bag lunch. Coffee is provided. Members take turns providing dessert. Come when you can for as long as you can. There are many things to do: sewing, cutting, tying of quilts, etc. You need not know how to sew to participate!
This is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship and service for QAELCW. Work can also be done at home (sewing quilt squares together), giving those who cannot attend on Wednesdays a chance to be part of this service project. Another way to help is by giving donations of materials or money to purchase needed items. An especially needed item is batting for the quilts.
- Prayer Partners
- are women who have been paired with another to pray with and for each other throughout the year. If you would like a Prayer Partner, please contact Sharon Ray, Mission Growth.
- Prayer Shawl Plus Ministry
- a ministry for crafters to share their crafting gifts with others. Two main focuses for this ministry are the Prayer Shawls for those we know and infant sweaters for LWR.
- Circles
- are groups of women who meet monthly for Bible Study and fellowship. All women are encouraged to attend a Bible Study of their choice. All circles meet in the Church Library. We have four circles: Northern Lights, Julia, Martha-Esther, and Naomi.

- Café is an on-line discussion group through the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Visit the Café, browse, or join the discussion.
